Mortgage Rates Remained Steady This Past Week, May Move Higher

Mortgage rates ticked up slightly this week but remained in their recent range. The 30 Year Fixed Rate Mortgage was at 2.88% in today’s Freddie Mac survey and the 15 Year Fixed Rate Mortgage was at 2.15%. Mortgage rates remain below 3.00%, which on a historical basis are still near all-time lows. Although, today’s move higher in the 10 Year Treasury Bond suggest rates may be on the move to find a higher range.
