Mortgage Rates Up Slightly

Mortgage rates moved up a little this week. The 30 Year Fixed Rate Mortgage was 2.98% in today’s Freddie Mac survey and the 15 Year Fixed Rate Mortgage was at 2.31%. Mortgage rates remain low on a historical basis and are near all-time lows. However, treasury bond yields have started to move up again and may take mortgage rates with them.
