Mortgage rates dropped slightly this week according to Freddie Mac’s Weekly Survey. The survey showed 30 year fixed-rates down 2 basis points on the week to 4.39%. The 15 year fixed-rate was down 1 basis points to 3.44%.
Ten Year Treasury Rates closed at 2.77% today, down 8 basis points from last week and down 9 basis points from yesterday. Treasury Rates had been stable for about a week until a big drop today on the heels of a sell-off in the equity markets. See our Daily Interest Rate Updates for the most current bond rates.
