Mortgage rates moved up slightly this week according to Freddie Mac’s Weekly Survey. The survey showed 30 year fixed rates up 6 basis points on the week to 4.16%. The 15 year fixed-rate was up 7 basis points to 3.27%.
Ten Year Treasury Rates are up around 2.6%, having moved up about 10 basis points from last week. Combined with European rates getting lowered, this should keep the pressure to the downside for mortgage rates in the near term.
