Mortgage rates dropped a little to remain at levels last seen in June according to Freddie Mac’s Weekly Survey. The survey showed 30 year fixed rates dropping another 3 basis points from last week to 4.10%. The 15 year fixed-rate was down 4 basis points to 3.20%.
Ten Year Treasury Rates are still around 2.5%, having moved up only several basis points after yesterdays Fed meeting. This should hopefully bring some short-term stability to mortgage rates.
