Mortgage rates dipped this week in Freddie Mac’s Weekly Survey with 30 year fixed rate loans coming in at 4.29% (down 17 basis points on the week.) The 15 year fixed-rate was at 3.39%. These are coming off the highest rates in nearly two years in last weeks survey. Day to day rates are not as volatile this week as bond markets have started to adjust to the new normal in this holiday shortened week.
