Mortgage Rates Jump

Freddie Mac published their Weekly Primary Mortgage Market Survey yesterday.   Their survey shows mortgage rates moved up substantially with an average 30 year fixed rate home loan priced at 5.29%.  This is much higher than last weeks rate of 4.91%.  This particular survey may not truly reflect the entire jump as rates have moved from the mid 4’s to the mid 5’s very quickly.
